About us:

For the past few years, members of the Nematode Evolution Lab at Brigham Young University have traveled to Antarctica to collect samples of invertebrate life, including nematodes, tardigrades, and rotifers. Using morphometric and genetic data we describe the trophic, phylogenetic and phylogeographic relationships among these critical members of Antarctic soil life (see more under the Projects page).
Photos were taken by Judit Hersko, an installation artist who helped our team do fieldwork during the 2000-09 season (see more of her work at http://www.judithersko.com)
